HERA Network Achievements
The HERA Network’s successes to date include
- the creation of effective central administrative body for trans-European funding calls
- the establishment and successful management of four pioneering humanities-focused JRPs
- the establishment of strong, trusting relationships among funding agencies
- the sharing of best practice across agencies, particularly in knowledge exchange and articulation of impact
- A positive impact on international strategy formulation at agency level
- the achievement of closer integration between EU15 and EU13 countries
- the establishment of a HERA “brand” in Europe on behalf of humanities
