Posted: 5 August, 2012

HERA brings together humanities researchers from 150 international research centres to launch an innovative research programme in the EU’s newest member state

The HERA network will launch its latest joint research programme funding 18 international project consortiums in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on Monday 30th September 2013. This international programme will bring together networks of researchers in 150 research centres, in Europe, China, India and the USA. The HERA Joint Research Programme establishes 18 international project consortiums who will explore a range of exciting humanities research questions. This innovative research programme demonstrates how cultural encounters feature in interventions against violence toward women and children, to how our understanding of Europe and what it means to be European is interpreted through film and television.
