HERA is delighted to be participating at the Being Human Festival with the animation directed by Annlin Chao and supported by HERA researchers. This project brings together global animation talents and humanities researchers, exploring and discussing why Humanities matter. In less than 3 minutes, the animation explains why the Humanities are essential in revealing our society’s past, present and future – from a blank canvas to the unpredictable and extraordinary worlds of humankind. In the discussion panel, Annlin and HERA members describe where the idea for the animation came from, how it is created and how we can further promote Humanities in this challenging world.
