On 3 April 2013, Deljana Iossifova presented a paper - The Notion of Scarcity: Lessons to be learned from a ‘deprived’ east London ward - as part of the Cities, Mobilities, Place and Space stream at the Annual Conference 2013 of the British Sociological Association in London. The highly successful conference, Within The Limits of Scarcity, is now finished, but the podcasts of the keynote speakers are now available here. We are very grateful to all our keynotes, who broke all conference conventions (!) and did not just talk about their own work, but really addressed the issues that the conference was raising. The quality of the other papers was also universally high, and we are hoping that some will be published in Places.
